It is time to visit to the United Kingdom & Ireland
The United Kingdom and Ireland, probably the most popular first-time European vacation destinations. With their mostly-moderate climate, incredible history, the cities and little villages, and common language (except for that little issue of the accent), it's the perfect place to discover Europe.
The United Kingdom has such a lot to offer. England has its cathedral cities and open spaces, its history and legend. Wales is something very different, tiny Wales with its string of strategically-placed Castles, it mountains and valleys, and, above all, its magical voices raised in song. Scotland offers a land of contrasts, from the borderlands of the south to the rugged beauty of the North, and the wild and wonderful islands surrounding it. Here is a country that offers hiking and climbing and golf for those who're visiting. Then there's Northern Ireland, the last of the 4 countries of the United Kingdom. Long a bone of contention with England, it is now, finally, seeing peace. A beautiful country in and of itself, it's rocky coastline and historic cities and ancient sites offer just as much as the other countries of the UK.
Then there's the Republic of Ireland. A country made up of a people of incredible strength and perseverence through oft-times terrible turmoil. It's come into its own and is loved for its charming countryside, its spiritual sites, its magnificent coasts, its stunning vistas. Spend an hour or two or a night or more in any of its castles or castle hotels as you explore your ancestry or see the sights for which Ireland is so well-known and when you leave, you'll have the music of Ireland in your memory and you'll feel the pull to return there yet again.
